For Trang Airport, the best hotel is usually the one that gives you a predictable transfer without sacrificing the rest of the Trang stay. Parima is the strongest airport-oriented modern option, Rua Rasada is the full-service all-rounder, GinGin works when you want a central city stay with manageable airport access, The Bliss Boutique Hotel is the value choice, and Thumrin Hotel is the rail-and-air compromise.
Trang Airport (TST) is in Khok Lo, Mueang Trang District. If the flight is only one part of a longer Trang trip, do not move hotels simply to be a few minutes closer to the terminal. Compare Where to Stay in Trang before prioritizing airport access over food, station convenience or city time.

Quick comparison
| Hotel | Best for | Airport logic | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Parima Hotel | Modern airport-oriented stay | Official site states approx. 15-minute airport transfer | Less station-focused |
| Rua Rasada Hotel | Full-service stopover | Official site says 5–15 min from key transport | More facilities than a pure transit night needs |
| GinGin Hotel | Central couple/city stay | Current property info places it around 3.7 mi from TST | Not an airport-specialist hotel |
| The Bliss Boutique Hotel | Value and parking | Current property info places it around 4.3 mi from TST | Fewer leisure facilities |
| Thumrin Hotel | Rail-to-air itinerary | Central station base with airport reachable by road | Best when rail matters too |
1. Parima Hotel — best modern airport-oriented stay
Parima is the clearest choice when Trang Airport matters but you still want a hotel you would choose for more than one night. The official site lists airport transfer service, 24-hour front desk, parking, room service and pool-focused room categories. It also states that transfer to or from Trang Airport is approximately 15 minutes.
Best for: late arrivals, early flights, couples and families. Trade-off: if the railway station is the fixed transport point, a central station-area hotel may reduce total movement.

2. Rua Rasada Hotel — best full-service airport stop
Rua Rasada works when the airport night is still meant to feel like part of the holiday. The official hotel site states that Trang Airport, the bus terminal and railway station are roughly 5–15 minutes away by road. The property also offers a pool, fitness facilities, sauna, restaurants and spa services.
Best for: families, business travelers and guests with time to use the hotel. Trade-off: on a very short overnight stop, you may pay for facilities you never use.

3. GinGin Hotel, Trang Old Town — best for airport access plus city atmosphere
GinGin is not selected because it is the closest possible room to TST; it is selected because it gives travelers a real central Trang stay while keeping the airport within a manageable road transfer. Current property information places it about 3.7 miles from Trang Airport and lists family rooms, restaurant, bar and breakfast.
Best for: couples and travelers who want one city evening before a flight. Trade-off: choose Parima if reducing airport friction matters more than central atmosphere.
Check GinGin Hotel availability
4. The Bliss Boutique Hotel — best practical value option
The Bliss Boutique Hotel is a smaller Mueang Trang property with private parking, 24-hour reception, balconies and basic in-room conveniences according to current property information. That makes it useful when you want a straightforward room rather than a resort experience. Current listing information places the hotel about 4.3 miles from Trang Airport.
Best for: drivers and budget-conscious travelers. Trade-off: there is less reason to choose it if pool, spa or walkable old-town evenings are the priority.

5. Thumrin Hotel — best rail-and-air compromise
Thumrin Hotel is near Trang Railway Station according to its official site, so it is most useful when the itinerary combines rail and air within the same stay. Guests can also use selected facilities at sister property Thumrin Thana Hotel, including the pool and fitness center.
Best for: travelers arriving by train and flying out later. Trade-off: it is a station-led city base rather than an airport-side hotel, so arrange the TST transfer in advance.

How early should you leave for Trang Airport?
Do not use an old drive-time estimate as your departure plan. The hotel should confirm pickup time based on the current flight, airline check-in requirement and road conditions. For early departures, arrange the ride the evening before instead of relying on an on-demand vehicle at checkout.
Should you stay near TST for the entire Trang trip?
Usually not. Airport proximity has its highest value on arrival or departure day. Central Trang gives more flexibility for restaurants and city movement. If you are staying three nights and only one journey is to the airport, choosing the stronger overall city hotel normally creates a better trip.
Late-arrival booking scenario
After a late flight, reliable reception, a known transfer and simple food options matter more than a decorative room upgrade. Confirm whether the airport transfer is included, scheduled, paid separately or must be requested in advance. A slightly higher room rate can be worth it when it eliminates uncertainty after landing.
Early-flight booking scenario
For an early flight, the biggest question is whether staying in central Trang creates an uncomfortably early departure. If the difference is small, moving hotels for one final night may waste more time in packing and check-in than it saves on the road. Parima and Rua Rasada work well because they combine normal city-hotel facilities with published airport-access information.
Airport hotel or railway-station hotel?
Choose the airport-oriented hotel when the flight is the fixed event you cannot miss. Choose the station area when you arrive late by train and the flight is later the next day. If you are switching from train to plane inside one night, compare the total transfer chain rather than optimizing around only one endpoint. See Hotels Near Trang Railway Station.
Airport hotel or central hotel?
For one night before an early flight, airport access deserves more weight. For two or three nights, city convenience often wins because you will make several food and sightseeing trips but only one airport trip. The right hotel minimizes total friction across the whole stay, not just departure morning.
Booking checks before paying
Verify airport-transfer availability for the exact date and time, reception hours, breakfast timing, cancellation rules and whether the room rate includes the services you expect. Dynamic travel facts can change, so recheck the flight and pickup shortly before travel.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best hotel near Trang Airport?
Parima is the strongest airport-oriented modern option in this shortlist because it publishes airport-transfer service and an approximate transfer time.
Is there a hotel inside Trang Airport?
This guide focuses on Mueang Trang hotels used for airport access rather than an in-terminal property. Confirm current terminal services directly with the airport operator.
Should I move hotels for an early flight?
Only when your existing hotel creates a meaningfully harder departure. For an afternoon flight, changing hotels often creates more friction than it removes.
How far is Trang Airport from central Trang?
It is in Mueang Trang District. Travel time depends on the exact hotel and road conditions; several city hotels market themselves around manageable airport transfers.
